GINA FILOMENA MALIZIA It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our daughter, sister, niece, and cousin, Gina Malizia with her family by her side at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 33 years. Gina was predeceased by her brother Sabatino in 1976. Left to mourn her passing are her parents, Sabino and Sonia. Gina we love you and you will never leave our hearts. Her sister Sabrina who never left her bed side and held her until her last breath, all her aunts, uncles and friends who made endless visits to the hospital and supported each other. Gina was born on May 21, 1973. She graduated from Dakota Colligate. She was hard working, good-natured and always knew how to touch people's hearts. Gina fought hard but couldn't win her battle with cancer. To the GD6 Ward at the Health Sciences Centre, we can't thank you enough for all your care and support to Gina and to us. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 18, at 1:00 p.m., in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald Street. Interment will follow at the St. Vital Cemetery.
